What is Baroque fashion?

Baroque fashion was charming, with large, disheveled collar and excessive sleeves of balloons. The clothing was made of rich fabrics such as velvet, silk and brocade. Baroque fashion were typical living colors, ribbons and bead embroidery. Overall, clothing became looser than previous styles to allow more freedom of movement, except for the corsets worn by women. Many corsets were decorated with embroidery, ribbons and bows. There were no stretch fabrics, as they are today, and when the laces were firmly attracted, the corsets were unpleasant, with solid stays.
