What is bouldering?
Bouldering is a branch of climbing that includes climbing with low altitude routes without the use of LAN or similar support equipment. The bouldering route rarely exceeds 23 feet (seven meters) and is designed as a physical and intellectual challenge rather than a test of endurance. Qualified bouldering requires excellent physical condition and skills of climbing and many climbers begin bouldering. However, people with less ability can also participate and it is a fun and cheaper way to experience climbing. Europe is an excellent place for bouldering, because many areas of Europe are celebrated by large boulders and low climbing faces that fit well. For people who want to grow and get involved in a little climbing, bouldering is an alternative to all devices and risks involved in real mountaineering.
For bouldering, several surfaces can be used. The first is, of course, a boulder or a very large rock. Successful bouldering route or challenge on the boulder usually ends nAhora. Climbers can also boulder on the base of larger routes, or use a boulding wall, a specially designed climbing wall. In addition, the skill can be adapted to climbing buildings, sometimes called "build".
Gear for Bouldering is very basic. At least a climber will wear climbing shoes and bring chalk to dry hands to get better grip. Most climbers also bring a bump mat, a soft layer of padding to land, if some climbers fall, also use special gloves, especially for rough surfaces. The rope is generally not used.
In many cases, the rock will be mapped by the assortment of the Bludering Challenge, which aims to test the skills of climbers. Mountaineers can be limited from using Easy Holds if they follow the challenge or are expected to follow the HOLD list when completing the challenge. Some of these challenges are NESSlightly difficult and require great dexterity and strength.
Bouldering should always be performed in pairs or groups for safety, especially in the wild. Although someone has excellent skills, they can fall or be subject to an unexpected injury. Bouldering with a partner ensures that assistance is in the emergency situation within reach, and it is more fun.
