What is Catnip Spray?
Catnip, also known as Catmint and Catswort, is a plant of herbs that belong to the Mint family. Some cats respond to oil produced by a plant and experience short -lasting euphoria when they feel it. Catnip Spray is a concentrated form of this oil, which is usually sold in bottles with pump paint. The spray can be applied to cat bed linen, toys, scratches of columns and everything the owner wants the cat to attract. It is used to attract cat attention to a particular area, or just to enjoy the cat for a few moments.
The chemicals in Catnip, which causes an answer in some cats, is a non -pestelacton. Young cats may first show sensitivity to this chemical when they are three to six months old. Only about half of all cats are sensitive to Catnip. The rest usually will not respond when they feel herb. Despite the blissful reaction that some cats after the smelling cattnip spray, it is not considered dangerous or addictive for animals.
cats that are sensitive to behavior that show that they can move from playfulness and excitement to an unusually calm and relaxed state. Each cat will generally respond differently to Cattnip spray. The same cat can even have different reactions to Catnip at different times. It seems that some cats are happy and three are treated with Catnip, while others enjoy chewing the leaves of the plant. There seems to be no negative side effects of Catnip, so it can generally be used regularly safely.
Although the exact way in which Catnip works is not clear, it is known that the effects usually take only about ten minutes. Cats will also usually not respond to the cattnip spray again about two hours after it originally smells, perhaps because the chemistry of the cat's brain must switch back to normal. If the cat is not sensitive to fresh or dried cattnip, it should also have a catnip spray effect.
SprayCatnip allows cat owners to apply this chemical to specific areas without the need for a real plant. The use of a spray may not produce a better or different reaction than the use of a real catnip, but should be at least as effective. One of the great advantages of using a spray instead of fresh or dried leaves for cattnip is that it remains effective much longer. After a short time, the oil in the Catnip is distracted from fresh or dried leaves, causing them unnecessary. The leaves must also be cleaned when cat entertainment is over while Catnip spray leaves no mess.
