What is the fertilizer compost?

Fertilizer is a product that provides useful nutrients for soil, plants, flowers and vegetables. This fertilizer is generally formed by controlled decomposition of organic material, such as plants, fruits and vegetables. While all organic material eventually decomposes, composting accelerates this process and helps to form a nutrient -rich soil.

The compost fertilizer helps to retain water, supports the healthy development of root systems in plants and provides environmentally and environmentally friendly means to dispose of food waste and the neckline. It is estimated that food and lawn waste is approximately 30% of all waste in landfills. Converting waste to compost fertilizer helps to release valuable and limited spaces in landfills.

Compost is usually produced by collecting organic waste and material in a container, often called a compost basket. The green ingredients such as green clippings, fertilizers, vegetable and fruit waste and brown waste like jE wood, dried leaves, sawdust, straw and paper. In the composting mixture, green components provide nitrogen, while brown ingredients provide carbon.

Once the ingredients are combined in the basket for compost, the water is added and the ingredients are mixed together. At this point of the process, a compost activator is often added, a high nitrogen liquid to speed up the decomposition process. When a pile of compost is formed, microbes in the mixture begin to multiply and decompose organic components of the material, causing a pile of compost to heat up.

When maintaining properly, the fertilizer should be ready to use in approximately two to four weeks. The completed compost should have a dark brown color and aroma earthy and musty as fresh soil. If the pile has bad and medium undertakes as garbage, it is no more than likely not to be ready and may need additional material added to repair as wellOutflows of the total mixture.

Fertilizer compost has several different applications. It is often combined with an existing soil that allows the nutrients in the compost to slowly release into the soil. It can be used very much like mulch and applied around flowers and plants to reduce weed growth and maintain water around the plants. The fertilizer of the compost can also be used as part of the soil watering mix.

Compost

can also be used to create a so -called compost tea. The process of steep produces a liquid rich in nutrients found in compost. Compost tea is usually applied directly or sprayed into plants. Many people believe that the application of compost tea can increase the amount of nutrients that plants are able to absorb from the soil.
