What is Consolida?
Consolida is a genus of annual plants commonly referred to as Rocket Larkspur or annual dolphinium. Most of the annual Larkspur species come from southern Europe and Mediterranean regions. They are considered durable annuals because they are somewhat tolerant of cold weather. Larkspur plants are closely related to permanent dolphinium; But they are much less noticeable. Like Delphiniums, some varieties produce blue flowers with pink and white types. While slightly smelling flowers that bloom summer until autumn are similar to the real dolphinia, the total size of the plant is smaller. In addition, the leaves are more gloomy. These plants thrive in full sun or light shade and well draining soil. Plants grow, where the seeds are dropped and can be sown early in spring or even autumn.
