What is corn fertilizer?

The term corn fertilizer can refer to maize fertilizer or fertilizer made of corn. Corn fertilizer is usually a mixture of synthetic chemical fertilizers designed to meet the specific needs of corn. Fertilizer made of corn is corn gluten used for natural inspection of weeds and fertilization for lawns. While garden shops can sell fertilizers designed for corn, there is no specific type of corn fertilizer. Instead, the corn fertilizer is managed in different parts of the growing season to ensure that the corn acquires the specific elements it needs at certain times. Some types of corn fertilizers, called starter Fertilizers, are a mixture of nitrogen and phosphorus. These fertilizers are designed to provide plants with special support, while they are still very young to help them overcome slow growth and poor nutrient intake associated with cold weather at the beginning of the season. Starter's fertilizers extend toOlem seeds of corn before they hatch. When the corn is 4 to 6 feet high (1.2-1.8 meters), fertilizers with nitrogen, phosphor and potassium or as a leaf spray are often applied to the soil.

corn is such a heavy feeder that synthetic corn fertilizer can be relatively expensive and soil and groundwater tax is disproportionate to benefits. Instead of using chemical fertilizers, environmental farmers supply corn with nitrogen covering either when the corn is very young, or during the winter before it is set. Crime crims like Crimson Clover or Vitch draw nitrogen from the air and repair it in the soil. Corn can also be rotated with soy or alfalfa crops to increase nitrogen in the soil. Other chemical elements of maize need can come from fertilizers or compost. The corn -fertilized corn plants occupy as much nutrients as those that are fed by synthetic fertilizers.

type of fertilizer made of corn, calledCorn gluten fertilizer is a by -product of the production of corn starch -rich starch. This fertilizer sold as pellets or powder is generally used on lawns. Manufacturers claim to effectively suppress weeds before they can grow, but controlled product studies have shown mixed results. Obviously suppression of weeds is probably due to the high nitrogen content of this fertilizer, which gives the grass a lot of support and allows it to compete with weeds. Although corn fertilizer is natural and safe for humans and pets, it is still a serious pollutant, because unused nitrogen is converted into nitrates and enters groundwater.
