What is Feng Shui?

This complex concept of Feng Shui literally means "wind and water" and is easier to understand than significant or defined. Feng Shui must be experienced to indeed understand his consequences of the human spirit. Surrounding its meaning and application is an elusive energy known as Chi, which is an aesthetic periphery. Chi is everywhere in the universe, although it is intangible. Feng Shui reveals in our attitudes to life and landscape, which is a frame that we place, either consciously or unconsciously, around our lives. Feng Shui contains five elements that combine their own specific way to create positive or destructive cycles. These five elements are: wood, water, metal, ground and fire. For optimal shui, the room would need a balance of all five elements without being overwhelmed by some of them. Natural things are well suited to implement feng shui design in the house. Dual aspects of Yin and Yang always rule with Feng Shui, because the ultimate goal is a harmonious balance between people and natural objects.

Bedroom is the most important room in every house and is essential for energy flow throughout the house. Beds also have positions. Some of the Asian philosophy claims that the energy of anyone who has ever slept in bed leaves the rest (not only crumbs of crackers, but energy!). For optimal Feng Shui, the position of the bed in relation to the bedroom need to consider the door. The door should always be visible from the bed, and if not, put the mirror in a way to reflect the door. This will restore Feng Shui.

Feng shui inseparably combines life and landscape, because all things in life depend on themselves. The landscape is a living, breathing thing to the oriental way of thinking. And so it would seem that the Western world is to consider about heaven and earth and humanity as you in the east. As an English named Shakespeare, briefly put it in Hamlet: "There are more things in heaven and earth, my dear horathio than that of your philosophy."
