What is Fireblight?

Fireblight is a destructive and contagious bacterial infection that affects apple, pears, quince and related trees. This infection can destroy the entire set in one year if it is allowed to not control and may become a recurring problem as soon as the trees are infected. Several techniques can be used to reduce the risk of fire, and there are also tools that can be used to control ongoing infections. Bacteria usually begin to infect flowers and spread around the branch. As the bacteria grow, the leaves and branches turn black, they look as if they have gone through fire and skabby lesions may appear. The bacteria is also converted into branches, appearing again in the spring and causing the infection to repeat. The world should be burned and the pruning scissors should be wiped down to prevent the bacteria from spreading to other trees. Trees with a history of infection can also be sprayed in spring or winter to prevent the formation of hibernating bacteria.

Several gardening practices discourage the growth of bacteria. The trees should not be trimmed and fertilized in wet weather, because wet weather and new growth will encourage exaggerated bacteria to appear. It is also important to avoid supporting the growth of the late season in summer or autumn, as it can create an opportunity for bacteria to settle on a tree and endure the winter. All dead limbs destroyed by the fiery sea should be removed and destroyed properly in the autumn.

Some cultivars are more resistant to a fire sea than others. In an area with a history of this bacterial infection, resistanceculty may be advisable rather than more vulnerable. Many kindergartens order specific tree cultivars on request or give recommendations to people looking for lung -resistant trees. Gardeners can also look for sets that seem to be well in the area with recurring fire infections and find out which cultivars are in these sets.

Because Fireblight is contagious, ZHThe councilors should be careful about neighboring trees and plants. If it seems that Fireblight seemed to be manifested and it seems that the owner of the garden is taking care of it, perhaps a neighboring gardener might want to offer help or tips.
