What is Maga cow?

Maga cows is a self -defense system developed by the Israeli army. In Hebrew, the name literally means "contact fight". The technique was developed by a Hungarian boxer and wrestler Imrich Lichtenfeld in the 1930s, which was first used by Israeli underground paramilitary organizations such as Haganah. When Israel became an official country in 1948, Lichtenfeld was appointed the main instructor and combat coach for the defensive forces of Israel (IDF). Since then, Krav Maga has spread and is now practiced in more than 30 countries around the world.

Maga cows may look like martial arts, but in fact it is a form of struggle without rules and without restrictions. Martial arts such as judo, karate and even a match are considered a sport; Maga cow, on the other hand, is a regulated form of fighting. In fact, it is the purpose of the system to take the enemy as quickly as possible. Some teachers explain this as "the art of going home alive", which means that weaknesses, chocing and headbutts are considered to be acceptable movements.

In addition to using their bodies to combat, the practitioner learns to use the environment as a weapon. This means learning to use any object in the area, from bottles to baseball bats, as a substitute. The aim is to avoid injuries in the scenarios of real life, such as fighting, street attacks and violent meetings. Advanced students learn to defend themselves from attacks on weapons and knives, more scenarios of attackers, titles and ground fighting. Most self -defense classes today teach certain variations of Maga cows.

Military training in Maga cows is more extreme, including manual killing techniques, defense against grenades and disarming the enemy. All military and police offices in Israel are trained in the system, as well as many units of special forces around the world. In the USA, the Federal Office for Investigation (FBI), United is presented by the Maritime Corps, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and Air Force Office of Special Investigation (AFOSI) SPEThe alpine team of anti -terrorism is all taught as part of their physical education.
