What is Lagerstromia?
Lagerstromia is the scientific name of the plant of plants dating from parts of Asia, Australia and some islands in the Pacific Ocean. There are about 50 species of trees and shrubs that belong to the genus Lagerstromia, and differ from 1 feet (30 cm) up to 100 meters (30 m), although most of them are small or medium. The general name of this group of plants is Crape Myrtle and is grown in many parts of the world with warm climate, including southern Europe and some American states such as California and Texas.
