What is Maackia?

Maackia concerns the classification of the genus that was given by 11 species of flowering plants found in East Asia. It belongs to the category of Faboideae planting plants, which is characterized by their pea -shaped flowers. These flowers are fragrant and usually a shade of white, green or yellow. The roots of these plants contain bacteria fixing nitrogen that neutralize acids in the soil. They are also considered legumes because they carry fruit pods that measure about 1 to 3 inches (3 to 8 cm) long, each containing one to six seeds. This means that at a certain time of year they completely threw their leaves. Most often it happens during the autumn and winter months, when the temperature drops. The leaves of these flowering plants tend to not change color .. this slow -growing tree was commonly known as Amur Maackia , named on the Amur River in Manchuria, where it originated. It is a very strong and robust tree that easily adapts to most climate and soil conditions. As a result, it requires very little maintenance andWater, often used in landscaping houses, parks and streets.

Another flowering plant included in this genus is Maackia chinensis or Chinese Maackia . It is a medium -sized tree native who brought to the United States around 1908. Gardeners and landscape designers often prefer this flowering tree because pests and insects usually do not contain it. When they are young, its leaves are silver colors, but as soon as they mature, they turn into a deep shade of green. The Chinese Maackia can grow trees anywhere between 20 and 30 feet (6 to 9 m) in height, which is ideal for use in landscaped landscape and parks.

Maackia taiwanensis is another type of plant categorized according to this classification of the genus. It is easily distinguished by the color of its branches. The branches differ between dark gray and dark purple. Once it was abundantly found between the hills onTai -wan, its population dropped so quickly that it is classified as endangered plant species. Since 2010, this particular flowering plant can only be found in the Yangmingshan area on Tai -Wan, where most forests were converted into a national park to protect and save these dying plant species.
