What is microfleece?

Microfleece, also called Polar Fleece or Simply Fleece, is a soft, connected material of synthetic wool often made of polyester. It was first produced in 1979 by Malden Mills, now called Polartec LLC, but the company did not patent this product, which has now been that there are many different Polar Fleece manufacturers. Fleece is as warm as wool and similar appearance, but is much softer, lighter and easier to wash.

Any product that can be made of wool can also be made using microfleece. It is used in jackets, hats, sweat pants, blankets and many other products. Microfleece comes in four different thicknesses: Micro is the thinnest and most flexible, followed by 100, 200 and 300.

Microfleece is also considered to be more environmentally friendly than the wave. It is often made from recycled plastic bottles and is a vegan alternative to the wave. Vegans stay not only from meat food but also from using any animalH products, including wool. Microfleece is also a great alternative for people who are allergic to wool or people with sensitive skin.

microfleece is also hydrophobic or recurring water, so it is fast drying and warm, even if it is wet. When microfleece is fully soaked, it holds only one percent of its weight in the water and remains breathable. Its hydrophobic properties cause it to be good to avert sweat, so fleece is a great material for active wear.

Fleece also has several disadvantages. Depending on its quality, microfleece is not always durable. It can be particularly sensitive to pills and tears. Fleece also produces a lot of static electricity, making it a magnet for hair and dust. It is also not always wind resistant, although fleec and fleece with wind resistant winds are available.

In addition, although fleece is easy to wash the machine, it may bet damaged by incorrect care. If the hot water is wrong, polar fleece can be destroyed dried or ironed. Cool iron can be used if necessary. Polar Fleece is also one of the most flammable clothing materials, especially compared to natural fibers such as wool. Many fleeece products are treated with a slow fire to compensate.
