What is miscanthus?

Miscanthus is a genus that includes about 15 different types of high permanent grasses from tropical and subtropical areas around the world, such as Southeast Asia and Africa. These permanent grasses look like sticks with palm leaves and can grow up to 4 to 7 feet (1 to 2 m) tall. Plants belonging to this genus Flowers in many colors among the months to August to October.
