What is panda protection?

Giant Panda is one of the most endangered species in the world and has long focused on protection. It is believed that only about 1600 pandas remain in the world and most of them live in small isolated groups throughout South China. Panda protection includes different strategies for education of people about this endangered species and to support laws and standards aimed at panda protection.

One of the greatest threats for giant panda is the loss of the natural environment of the animal in southern China. The mountain areas where pandas have lived quietly for centuries are decimated by human development. Changes in housing and infrastructure have destroyed the bamboo that these pandas eat and gave them so close to people that they have problems with survival. Many panda protection strategies focus on preserving the natural panda habitat so that it can continue to prosper in the wild.

Within the national effort to protect Panda, the Chinese government has determined large areas of land as Panda reserves. These protected countries cannot be used for building or development. They are reserved instead ofWildlife, including panda, so that they can live in the wilderness and breeds. Trees cannot be limited and the soil cannot be disturbed, allowing panda to live in safe and without emergency.

Further efforts to protect panda are focused on poaching laws. This means discouraging poachers from killing a panda for trade or financial reasons. Laws against poaching can make a crime of killing a panda, or simply buy or sell a panda of the skin and other products derived from this endangered animal. The international trade laws prohibit the import or export of poisoned pandas in an effort to stop the impact of poaching.

Planned breeding programs are also an important strategy for panda protection. Zoo and environmental agencies Keep Pandas in captivity and encourage them to behave. Others release captured pandas into the wild to encourage natural breeding. Outbreeding efforts are focused on pands from one place and encouragingL is to behave with members of other groups in an effort to prevent inbreeding and maximize life.

Panda Conservation also requires educational efforts to teach the public about Panda and its endangered position. Educational effort helps to draw attention to this cause and can lead to greater ability to raise funds for panda protection. People's teaching about Panda's situation also helps to encourage the public to demand government funding and regulation that can help protect the panda population.
