What is Picamilon?

Picamilon is a dietary supplement and nootropic medicine. It is a combination of vitamin B3, also known as Niacin, and neurotransmitter Gaba. This supplement is used orally, usually in the form of a powder or tablet, and is able to exceed the blood -brain barrier. Once in the brain, it is hydrolyzed on Gaba and Niacin. In Russia, this compound is sold as a prescription drug and patented by a company operating in Moscow. It is used there as a treatment of depression and senile psychosis. In the United States, this compound was approved for sale as a food supplement. Niacin acts as a vasodilator that enlarges the blood vessels of the brain. This, in return, leads to increased blood flow, lowering blood pressure and is assumed that it helps to treat migraine headaches. This is known as anxiolytic answer and is due to GABA is an inhibitory neurotransmitter. Gaba limits rather than stimulate some brain functions.

Picamilon is considered a nootropic compound. These are also known as intelligent medicines and it is assumed that mental functions are expected. For Picamilon and many other nootropic drugs, there are few clinical research that clearly shows their action mechanism. Many people who take Picamilon report that they feel less anxious and more tension, which is contraintuitive for drugs against anxiety. Most drugs that suppress anxiety reactions to cause feelings of depression or lethargy.

A typical picamilon dose for a healthy adult is 100 milligrams (mg), one to three times a day. This compound works very quickly because its effects are evident within an hour and can take up to six hours. It may have a slightly stimulating effect so that the use of bedtime had to avoid. The negative side effects of this supplement seem relatively limited, but include headaches and nausea. One of the natural results of drug use is to significantly reduceEntrained blood pressure, so that no other vasodilators should be taken, especially those prescribed by a doctor.
