What is ska?
is a musical form mixing Jamaican music such as Calypso with jazz, blues or rock. Most people are familiar with the music of SKA produced in the 80's levers like The Specials and Madness. However, the form significantly precedes the 80s. It is assumed that it has evolved since the age of 30. The oldest versions combined New Orleans jazz rhythms using Jamaican tools. The piano and guitar were also used and the music was characterized by positive. Stress is a half rhythm rather than the traditional number of jazz and rock, where stress is directly on the rhythm. This rhythm is also reflected in reggae music. In 1964 at the World Fair in New York, Prince Buster, Peter Tosh, and Byron Lee performed and exposed America to this music, which was previously only heard in West India. This resulted in a significant change in the ska and the creation of a musical form that would be considered an alternative rather than a mainstream. Adding rock and roll clearly influenced the second wave of the late 70 and 80 years.
The British brand, 2 tone records, recorded most of the second age SKA. Music retained the joyful rhythm of the first wave and was a pleasant opposite of Punk rock and new waves. Most of the lyrics celebrated stupid. Vocal tracts were often a challenge to record and implementation because they required very fast verbalization, similar to language Twisters. The English rhythms "Mirror in the Bottom" is almost impossible to sing without Lithu Tongau. Virtually all groups of the second wave included talented corners, which differ much from other instrumental time of time.
SKA can also be attributed to inspirational rap music because it included toasting , which is spoken lyrics based on music rhythms. If everything was removed except the song elements of the song, the toasts would sound almost exactly like rapping, but the object tends to be bright.
The third wave ska appeared at the end of the 90's.Music from bands as less than Jake and The Fish Bones. The third wave is often harder to beat and involves punk rhythms. Racial equality and tolerance are characteristic of artistic form.
Interest in the second wave of ska has reappeared and it is quite common to hear these melodies on ads. The VH1 TV channel can be partially credited to this new interest. The channel recently broadcast the show while trying to restore the band, the English rhythm. They were not able to do all members of the English rhythm to return to recording the song, but from broadcasting the show, several members of the original band travel together and recently traveled in the US.
It is really difficult to listen to ska and not feel like dancing. Because most of the lyrics are stupid, fun and relatively tame, the presentation of this style of music to children is often a great way to teach children to dance, because they usually cannot resist dance on infectious rhythms. Most of the second wave belts reproduced their music on DVD or have original melodies for downloading on intErnet.
