What is Spackle®?

Spackle® is a product that is designed to fill holes and cracks in the walls before painting or paper. The act of using this material on these surfaces is sometimes called "Spackling" and many companies sell their own versions as "Spackling Pasta". Most hardware and construction stores carry it in different weights for different tasks. The trademark is held by Muralo. This word often occurs without its trademark or in a small script in the press, which further dilutes the company's trademark, a lot to their frustration.

There are two basic forms: powder and paste. Before use, the Spackle® powder must be mixed with water and has the advantage of not destroying dry and crunchy as a paste. This material is made of powder and adhesive that holds the powder together.
