What is suede?

, which is commonly used to make shoes, gloves and other fashion accessories, is suede a kind of skin with a smooth, velvety surface. The term was originally used in France to indicate a specific type of soft gloves imported from Sweden. Over time, the word came to refer to any leather material with a smooth nap surface. Once the skin is removed from the animal, it is tanned to produce a flexible, durable material that is used for a number of applications such as production clothing and upholstered furniture. The leather, which has not been ground or divided in any way, is called leather leather with whole grain. Whole grain skin is usually made only of the best undamaged skin. As a result, it is the most expensive and the most durable fur. These include the distribution of grains, which is the outer surface of the skin and the division of the meat or the inner surface. One or more medium divisions can also be produced in very strong progress.

In general, suede is created either from the inner division or from the division of the meat of a piece of leather. Because it comes from a thinner piece of leather, suede is less resistant than the skin of the whole grain. The texture of the diaper material is also more susceptible to water damage and spots. However, because several pieces of suede can be made of one leather, it is also much cheaper than the leather of the whole grain.

Although most suede are made of split leather, it is also possible to make suede of whole grain piece of leather. It can be achieved by grinding the skin surface, usually with Emery around. Suede, which is made of whole grain leather, can also be called Nubuck. The whole grain suede is usually more resistant than a variety with a depressed but also more expensive.

A more resistant and cheaper alternative to suede can be made of synthetic materials. Unlike natural suede, the synthetic version is stain resistant and is not susceptible to water damage. For this reason, a synthetic suede is often used for upholsteryFurniture or other objects that may have to maintain a lot of wear.

The best way to clean suede is to use a dry sponge or suede brush to remove dust and dirt. Suede shoes can also be protected by a silicon spray to prevent water from damaging and accumulation of soil. After applying the spray, the nap can be restored with the sandpaper or Emery with a board.
