What is sustainable fashion?

Sustainable fashion, sometimes referred to as ecological fashion, consists of clothing and accessories made of environmentally friendly materials and produced with the smallest possible trace of carbon. These factors associated with compliance with fair trade agreements and adequate working conditions and payments for employees of the company that create items are the basis of sustainable fashion industry. Vintage fashion, or re -use of fashion items that already exist is also considered sustainable fashion. Sustainable fashion uses materials that are grown either by organic practices, easily renewable or repeated. Cotton, when cultivated organically, does not use any harsh chemicals or pesticides and therefore reduces the amount of damage to the ecosystem. Materials such as bamboo, soya and cannabidant and re -re -registed, so they will come relatively easily. Textile residues remaining from production can be reused in other clothing articles to maximize the amount of product createdo With the least use of resources.

The way in which clothing and accessories are produced is a large part of sustainable fashion. This industry includes the use of solar and wind energy, restrictions on the use of water and the use of natural dyes. Its production, although usually more expensive, is also considered to be more environmentally friendly than mass production. Fashion produced specifically for one person or produced in very small quantities significantly reduces waste and use of natural resources, which is in the long run maintained. Limited transport distances or items produced and purchased locally can also be factors in determining whether the product falls into this category. The production of the production must travel, the fewer resources to use.

Human energy or workforce used to create products is also considered a source. A fair agreement on fair trade promotes honesty, higher salary and respectAmong the producers, their employees and their customers. Proper working conditions, such as ventilated buildings, fair hours, correct breaks and habitable wages, take into account the human aspect of production. Sustainable fashion focuses not only on care used in working with the ecological system, but also on care with people producing these materials.

vintage fashion is considered to be the embodiment of the ecological industry. Clothing and accessories that already exist, and therefore consume little or no sources, can be used as it is or are stored in modern fashion. These items, if they are well produced and take care of them, can significantly reduce the need for further production. Sustainable fashion, whether newly manufactured or repurpoly, becomes a common practice among many smaller companies and designers.
