What is the difference between rabbits and hares?

Although it is often confused in folklore, popular thinking and even the names of some animals, rabbits and busting are different families, which means that they differ genetically and do not say in nature. Rabbits and hares belong to the Leporidae family and are the two most famous members of the Lagomorph Order, which includes only one other animal, pika. Although they often considered rodents, rabbits and hares have several features that distinguish them from the members of the Rodentia Order, and Lagomorph was founded as a separate order at the beginning of the 20th century. While both animals exist in the wild, people do not leave hare as pets or leave them as livestock. For the most part, hare and rabbits differ in appearance, with a larger hare to be more efficient and wired, with larger back legs and legs of the large ears that improve directly from the head. Many Jackrabbit varieties are among the most famous hare in America, along with a hare on snowshoes, known for the seasonal change of their color as a form of camouflage.

rabbits and hares also differ in their lifestyle and behavior. Rabbits are altricial , which means that they are born blind, hairless and helpless, while the hares are ancestors', born with fur and vision and able to take care of themselves quite quickly. This is undoubtedly related to the fact that hare is born in shallow depression or nests above the ground, while rabbits, with the exception of cotton, are born in underground forces or warriors that provide increased protection. Most rabbits also live in these warriors as adults in groups, while hare and hunters in cotton live individually or in pairs in the nest above the ground.

Add the domesticity, in addition to a large group of hare called jackrabbits , there is a domesticated diversity of rabbit that resembles jackbbits and is named Belgian hare . Many folktals and traditions also confuse withRun animals, such as tradition in many eastern cultures that either hare or rabbits live on the moon, depending on the source you read. Both animals have ancient and mysterious mythical association, often related to fertility, because rabbits are passionate breeders.
