What is urban search and rescue?
Urban Search and Rescue (US & R) is a working group that is responsible for helping to recover the victims from the disasters zones. In 1989, the Federal Agency for Emergency Management (FEMA) was founded. Each urban search and rescue team contains two groups of 31 team members, four canines and any equipment they might need.
US & R teams are ready to go for a moment in response to any natural or artificial disaster. Whenever the disaster hits, Fema sends the nearest teams to the place. Teams for searching and saving cities helped save victims after hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes and other natural disasters. They also worked on saving lives and restoring bodies after terrorist attacks, technical accidents (such as building collapse) and leakage of dangerous materials or accidents. The US and R teams were at the point of bombing Oklahoma City in 1995, attacks by the World Trade Center in 2001 and other disasters around the world.
Each urban searty CH and Rescue consists of specialists in four areas. The first specialty is to look for victims. These experts are responsible for finding victims on the disaster page. After finding the victims, the second set of specialists will take over. Rescuers were specially trained in the skills needed to get and gain victims. This may include digging tons of concrete and steel or even organize complicated rescue from flooded areas.
6 Technical specialists make sure that the debris has been safely moved from the way and that there is a maximum chance of another structural collapse. The last set of specialists is doctors. After obtaining the victim of Medical Specialists for searching and saving cities, they are responsible for providing any immediate medical care that can be required. When the crews of cities and rescue arrive on the scene, the first thing they do is assess howSearch and rescue will be safe. Before starting, there are steps to ensure the safety of rescuers. Heavy equipment is used to remove as many residues as possible. Once safe, locators go to the area with dogs and look for signs of survivors. Locators also use specialized electronic devices to find victims. After finding the victims, the rescue team comes and removes the person from the disaster on somewhere where medical specialists can see their needs.
teams for urban search and rescue more than just respond to disasters around the world. They are also involved in the training of smaller, more located teams for reaction to emergency situations. During these trainings, members of the US and R.A show medical crews on how to respond to emergencies, allowing them to save lives. By making sure that rescue teams are introduced in the area, there is a better chance that more successful rescue efforts can take place before the team for searching and saving cities when looking at the emergency sIitation.
