Who are Midway monsters?

The name Monsters of the Midway began as a nickname in Chicago College Football. "Midway" is located on the University of Chicago campus. The other teams that came and left used their name, but eventually they accepted Chicago Bears and kept the title. The bears not only took the name, but also had talent to take over or stunning fields. Looking into the eyes of the vicious defense lines at the age of 40 or again in 1963, newcomers and even several veteran players shook.

MIDWAY monsters have gained their name, although such a language has disappeared over the years when the team did not offer fans enough to boast. Only in 1984, when they got to the championship, it was revived again. In 1985, thanks to the head coach Mike Ditka, the winning combination of hard coaching and determined players, the nickname again rang the truth. Color Quarterback Jim McMahon and a record offensive star Walter Payton played big roles in bringing the team to win, but defense was some kindAbout what players, fans and coaches also saw respect.

In the 1985 season, the team included a defensive line consisting of Richard Dent, Dan Hampton and William "refrigerator" Perry, along with Linebackers Wilber Marshall, Mike Singletary and Otis Wilson, Plus Safeties Dave Duerson and Gary Fencik. They were claiming and described as "average". Mike Singletary said he did not like using the word "means", but after watching the movies of games he could not argue with this term. In addition, the name as MONSTRA MIDWAY is expected to average.

1985 bears refused to let the opponents finish pass, rush or, above all, score. They put it in withdrawing two backs to turn off at the championships, which is a performance that has not been achieved since the age of 40. He healthy New York Giants, 21-0, then turned and left Rams standing in the snow at the soldier and listened to the crowd Chicago cheer up the 24-0 victory.

Few people believed that each team could beat Midway monsters, much less new patriots from New England to face them in New Orleans. The game was one of the top ten most watched television events in American history and did not disappoint. The bears beat Patriots, 46-10, and set another record. The team set up and broke many records this year, and many were considered the greatest defense in the history of NFL, not the biggest overall team.
