Why is there so much anxiety among the superheroes of comics?

Angst among the superheroes of comics is well documented and has been part of the tradition of comics since its foundation. Angst in fiction, however, precedes comics. Superhero suffering is simply another representation of anxiety of any hero on the path of hero. However, the reasons for anxiety among the superheroes of comics are numerous. Until the recent foundation of popular graphic novels, most of them were reading comics, adolescents or juvenile boys. The conflict hero, one with great gifts that he cannot reveal to the world, is a certain winner with most teenagers, especially teenage boys, the largest population of comics readers. Superhero who have to undergo physical change, such as Spiderman, or who were born with gifts that they have to hide as Superman, have ego, which is constantly suffering. As the boys mature, they face changing bodies and the feeling that no one really "gets" them. Their desire to be loved, awarded and understood is tied to the fear of rejection.

Many of them are without their biological parents such as Zorro, Batman, Superman and Spiderman. Although they may have loving adoptive parents, they are still "children of the world", as described by Campbell.

Instead of simply making parents happy, anxiety among the superheroes of comics can be partially explained by their need for the "world" to make happy. They sublimate their own desires to improve the world. It belongs to the world instead of simply belonging to themselves.

Superhero also have terrible relationships about relationships. Lodobra, Peter Parker and Mary Jane or Clark Kent and Lois Lane. The span of comics superheroes is often partly the answer to the fact that superheroes cannot first serve their personal needs. If yes, the result is usually tragic. Not only does it mean that they do not have successful relationships, but it also means that their real self are hidden from the world. No one really recognizes how great they are. Only a few intimas can be their real identity, which means that they remain largely ignored by the world.

It is quite difficult to want to save a world that would not want you and does not like you. Peter Parker is one of the best in it. It is a constant failure like Peter and constant success as Spiderman. However, few know this great page of Peter and see only a fool,that can't get to meetings in time.
