What is the belly?

Belly is the part of the torso that lies between the membrane and the pelvis. It is commonly referred to as a stomach, abdomen or "abdomen". Inside the abdominal cavity there are a number of important organs, including the liver, pancreas, spleen and kidneys. A large part of the digestive tract, including the stomach and small and large intestine, is also found. Aorta, the main artery, passes through the abdominal cavity.
