What is Glans?
Glans, or Glans penis, is a technical term for a sensitive head of the penis. Sometimes it is also referred to as "helmet" or "bell" of the penis due to its shape. Anatomically ranges from Corpus spongiosum, a fungal tissue in the penis that surrounds the urethra. This spongy tissue cushion urethra during the erection of the penis and prevents it from closing. Corpus spongiosum is surrounded by penis Corpora cavernosa, erectile tissue that is filled with blood when the penis is upright. At the tip of these structures lies Glans, in which the urethra is opened. The sensitivity increases in this area and in French, which lies just below it. Behind Corona is a sulcus or depriission, between corona and penile shaft. Scientists are discussing the purpose of this "rim", uncertain in terms of its exact function, although there may be simply increased sexual stimulation in both men and women during sexual intercourse rather than providing any evolutionary advantage.
skin onThe outer layers of the head of the penis consist of mucocutaneous tissue, similar to the skin on the inside of the mouth, which is very sensitive. For uncut men, it covers the foreskin of the penis when the penis is flabby and the skin on the head of the penis remains wet. The foreskin, also known as the preselection, is also mucocutaneous tissue and connects to the penis on the French penis preferences. This attachment point is located on the underside of the penis, where Glans encounters shaft and is visible in circumcision and unobstructed men.
After the circumcision or removal of the TON foreskin, the glans is left exposed and becomes dry and less supple. Some believe it will cause the skin to thicken and become less sensitive. Others feel that the removal of the foreskin helps maintain better hygiene for small children and has a little effect on the sensitivity of the glans. Circumcision is not medically necessary and is usually performed due to personal or religious preference. The debate continues whether circumcision has a significant impact on sexual stimulation.
