What Is a Base Box?

The shell is small and long cylindrical. The shell is 6mm long and the shell is 2.5mm wide. The shell is thin, white and shiny. 2-3 spiral layer. The spiral portion is drawn inwardly into the body spiral layer. A deep depression is formed in the center of the shell top. The top of the shell is obliquely truncated. The shell surface is covered with turquoise skin. The body spiral layer swells to the full length of the shell and is slightly tapered towards both ends. The shell watch is engraved with fine grooved spirals only at the bottom. The upper and middle parts are smooth without spiral grooves. The growth line is obvious. It is also decorated with white clouds. The opening of the shell is narrow and slightly curved. The upper part is slightly narrow and the bottom is slightly expanded. The outer lip is thin and simple. The upper circle bends obliquely from the top of the shell, and there is no ribs. There is a curved inward edge in the middle. Truncated bottom. The calcareous layer on the inner lip is thin, wide and smooth. The axillary lip is oblique and the base has a wide anti-pleated edge covering the umbilical region. Umbilical atresia. The inside of the shell mouth is white and smooth. [1]

Warm water type. Living in the low tide line of the intertidal zone-the muddy bottom of shallow water. Found in our offshore. Rare. We have not found any specimens. It is also distributed in Hong Kong, China.
