How can I combine the cable?

When joining two separate cables, it is necessary to connect the cable to form one cable. Five steps are required to cut the cable: check the compatibility, trim the cable, undress the wire coating, attach the cables together and cover. The tools needed to connect the cables are wire cutters, needles pliers, wire stripes and electric tape.

The first thing you need to do when connecting the cable is to ensure that they are compatible. Both cables must be the same breakup, thickness and type. This is a security problem. The cables are simply a transport system for signals or electricity. Each cable is checked, tested and evaluated to have a certain level of activity.

If two cables match, then you still work within this limit. If one cable is larger or heavier than the other, you risk overloading the cable. The meter and thickness are printed on the output plug for each electrical cable. Align the cable together if you are sure that two cabys mATCH.

Always check that the cables are not connected to the electrical outlet before starting work. Cut the cable with a sharp blade so that the edges of both cables are fresh and are not frayed. When cutting the cable, avoid crushing the wire using a tool that is large enough for the cable diameter.

There are two wire streaming methods: Use wire strippers or a sharp knife. Remove at least two inches (5.1 cm) of the wire coating. Wire stripper is a tool designed to remove plastic cladding surrounding wires without damage to the wire. They are available in a range of dimensions and are able to accommodate more sizes. If you decide to use a knife, make sure you do not cut the wire itself and cut off your body to avoid accidents.

As soon as the conductor is accessible, separate the different colored wires so that the waste is slightly apart. Matching together by color and size. Turn the answerAffecting the wires together. Once all wires are twisted together, check any fraying and make sure the conductor is not relaxed.

There are two ways to cover part of the cut cable: solder or electric tape. It is possible to combine units together, but requires skills, stable hand and necessary tools. The electric tape reaches the same target, but is faster and cheaper. Glue the twisted wires together and then apply the tape to capture the twisted wires on the existing cable. Through the tape of 2 inches (5.1 cm) on both sides to ensure safe storage.
