What are the Christmas lights of the bubbles?

Christmas lights are decorative objects that consist of a liquid plastic tube that rises from the base with a bulb inside. They can come to a chain of several lights or separately as a tube and a base that can be set through a regular Christmas light. The liquid was traditionally something with a low boiling point, such as light oil or methylene chloride. The heat from the bulb would cause a liquid bubble, hence the term bubble light. Modern versions usually use LED light to duplicate the effect of bubbling liquid.

The early versions of the Christmas bubble lights usually had a clean bulb and color fluid in the tube. There were also some versions with colored lights and clean liquid. Modern variations include glitter in liquid, decorative bases and lights for other holidays such as Halloween.

The color of the plastic base may also vary. The first version of the lights usually had plastic parts that were green, red, blue, and Amber. Modern bubble lights come in JThe wider range of colors.

Most modern versions of Christmas bubble lights do not contain liquid, but rather have bubbles elaborated to the sides of the tube. The lights can be stationary or have elements that change color in a way that mimics the way the bubbles once appeared in a tube. Now there are also larger bubble lights filled with distilled water that are able to stand alone.

Christmas lights of bubbles in some form existed in a certain form because it was first created in the 40s of the 20th century. They were first made in Manchester in England, but quickly spread to other countries, as their popularity grew. Bubble lights were most commonly used as decorations during the 1950s and 1970s, when it was basically replaced by a minor variety of light most popular for the rest of the century.
