What are the transistors of thin films?

thin films transistors are transistors created by storing layers of semiconductor materials as thin films on a substrate of some kind to create transistors of field effect. The transistor substrate is usually a transistor semiconductor material itself. In the case of thin films transistors, however, the substrate is non -conductive and serves only to support films that form the physical structure of transistors. These substrates are often made of glass or similar type of stable composite. Thin films transistors find the use almost exclusively in digital displays used for computers, TVs and similar devices.

When using for display, a substrate for thin film transistors is used as the back of the screen and is built of several layers in itself. The substrate layers usually include an insulating layer, a polarizing layer and then a glass layer. At the top of this layer are added rear electrodes for the display as wellthat will be used to activate thin films transistors. Then the transistors themselves are added.

The

series of films is placed on a substrate at specific places to form transistors. First, a thin film of electrically charged semiconductor material is set to form a transistor body. Furthermore, another semiconductor film is laid at specific places that are electrically charged opposite the first layer. Then a film is added that acts as a dielectric that prevents direct current from transistors, but allows you to go through electromagnetic fields. Finally, another semiconductor layer is added, which is charged to match the layer of the body of the transistors.

Once the transistors are fully designed on the substrate, a number of small metal contacts are added that connect operating partitransistors into horizontal and vertical command lines on the substrate. To complete the FOThe display is added a hard polymer layer, followed by the front electrode. Finally, the RGB mask is added, allowing the display to display colors, followed by another layer of glass and another polarizing layer.

The completed screen displays the activation of thin films transistors via the command line. When they begin to breed, transistors create electromagnetic fields that interact with the rest of the substrate to create a number of colored lights that serve as display pixels. Usually, the transistor liquid crystalline displays (TFT LCD) have one transistor for each color in each pixel. These transistors very fast and stable and requiring very small amounts of energy allow thin, lightweight and durable displays that have high refresh frequencies and a fresh definition between pixels.
