What is the cord?

Cord Coubler is a device that connects two different pieces of wire, cord or cable together. Although this term usually applies to telephone cables, couplings can also be used with video, sound cables, power and network cables. The couplings can even be used to connect two different cloth cables or ropes. They offer a direct connection for a signal carried by jack. Most people use these types of cable links to connect with two short phone cords to form one long cable. This clutch has a few small female connectors that look like Jack RJ-11, but they are slightly smaller. These narrower jacks, referred to as "4P4C" connectors are identical to RJ-11, but smaller and only with four wires. Some few headphones also include a swivel attachment to avoid the attached cords of the headphones to get entangled.

In addition to telephone cords, the cord connectors connect with many other cable types together. ManagerThe networks use couplings with RJ-45 connectors to turn short Ethernet® cables into long and can do it with cable couplings from optical fibers. Cable TV installer often uses F-Konzervary F-clubers to connect with coaxial cable cables together. The manufacturers of cords and other products made of fabric cord or rope can also buy clutches to join two short pieces into long.

No matter what application the cords are used, its comfort comes with the price. Two short cords connected together will never be as strong as the only long line. In electrical signals, the binding leads to the risk of noise, interference and signal loss. There is a weak point in the cloth cord and threatens the strength of the entire line. In both cases, the couplings can be an excellent way to turn two short cables into one long, but the best solution in the settings, where performance cannot be endangered, is to give up the use of the clutch and simply use a longer piece of line.
