What is the GPRS access point?

The access point of the General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) is a data transmission technology for wireless data transmission that allows mobile devices to access the Internet via a mobile network. The GPRS access point is usually a mobile phone that has a subscription with the GPRS provider, which is usually a mobile phone company. Other mobile devices have access to the Internet synchronization with a mobile phone allowed GPRS. It is similar to the way the notebook connects to the WiFi access point to access the Internet. GPRS is considered to be an outdated wireless telephone technology, especially because many mobile phone companies upgraded to 3G speeds. The speed of web browsing through the GPRS access point is limited by several factors. Most mobile phones limits speed to about 35 kilobytes per second (KBPS), although GPRS is able to transmit data at 115 kbps. Regardless, GPRS is adequate DPROTOKOLS ATA transmission for mnOho applications.

by accessing the Internet via GPRS access points, users can walk through the Internet, log in to a chat room, send and receive e-mail and participate in electronic trading. Most multimedia messages (MMS) are sent via GPRS, but GPRS connection is not fast enough for live sound or video conferencing. It usually takes 0.5 to 1.0 seconds to move the data from the GPRS network to the Internet and back, causing a significant delay in live sound or video.

Despite less than perfect speed, GPRS's access point is if there is no further Internet connection. Laptops and PDAs have Internet access at the same time when they are connected via the GPRS access point. Each device will work as if it had its own Internet connection.

There are several ways to connect a notebook to a mobile phone that has an attachGPRSDING using a notebook cable. Another method is the use of Bluetooth technology. Once two devices are paired, the notebook has easily access to the Internet. The third way to connect the device is to use infrared ports if available. The only problem of this method is that the phone must be placed near the laptop and cannot be moved when using the Internet.

GPRS access point can also be created through a laptop that has a GPRS Connect card. Using the Internet connection option available on most laptops, many devices can be connected to the Internet via a laptop. The device must simply synchronize with a notebook.
