What is a green cathode?

Green cathode is a cold cathode device used for lighting. Rowned cathode devices are used to emit ions into a gas tube with phosphor coatings that are responsible for the green color. Other colors for the cold cathode include white and red. The green cold cathode comes with a separate power supply that generates the tension high enough to drive the green cathode light tube. The voltage in the power outlet is approximately 110 volts AC current (VAC), while the power generation generates about 650 VAC.

While the green cathode is used with alternating current (AC), some other types of cathodes are used with direct current (DC). Unlike the green cathode, the negative cathode is used in active electronic devices called vacuum tubes. Positive cathode devices refer to the polarity of the electrolyte in batteries. The Fluor also uses cathode material in rechargeable batteries. ESCENT tube backlighting to compensate for low -voltage traffic. These devices have appetizers that temporarily heat the cathodes so that the current over the tube can begin to flow. As soon as the current began to flow, there is an indirect heating of the cathode and ionization and the subsequent illumination of the phosphor coating is maintained.

Another type of hot cathode is used in the tube of cathode rays and tubes with an early cathode were the first version of cathode tubes with wide -angle screens, which were very popular as TV screens (TV) sets. The cathode of the cathode beam tube located at the back of the TV is at low voltage, while the high voltage anode in tens of thousands of volts is closely connected to the TV screen. When electrons are released from the cathode towards the anode and the screen, the phosphorus of the screen is lighting. Color TV sets use red-green (RGB) phosphorus coated as a fine nut on the inside of the TV screen. With the right circuitA full-fledged image reproduction, in-synchronization with a broadcast program appears on the screen.

Green cathode lighting is very popular because it is very effective, uses less electricity and generates less heat. This makes the green cathode and other cold cathode lighting equipment suitable for use near sensitive equipment or inside. Progress in power technology leads to a very economic generation of high voltage required to supply energy such as green cathode.
