What is Mii?

and MII is a personal character or avatar that you can create on Nintendo Wii®. Even if you don't have games for Wii®, even if you usually come up with Mii Sports®, you can start building Miis. The Nintendo system allows you to access different building tools, so you can determine the height, thickness, face shape, eye, hair and skin and many other things when creating MII. They may look like celebrities, or just like you and your Wii & Reg will organize 100 personally created avatars. Even for young children, creating Miis is great fun, such as using drawing, but does not require much in the way of coordinating the hands of the eyes.

If you play certain games on Wii®, your avatars are also played. For example, in Wii Sports®, your created MII participants are. They will be your pitch, golfers, boxers, tennis players and the like. If you play any type of team sport, such as baseball, all the avatars you created will show up and play positions you control Pitching and launching. Among other games they useYour characters include the Big Brain Academy®.

your Wii® game controller can also hold several MII if you want to visit other Wii® consoles. For example, you are able to take your favorite character and play it in a friend's house or switch it with a friend, so Mii friend can come and play to your house. With an Internet connection on your Wii, you can exchange avatars with friends online or go on the Check Mii Out channel, where you can demonstrate your Mii for anyone who has access to the channel. Nintendo even organized competitions for the appearance of celebrity-like Miis.

Inspiration for these little avatars is actually caused by the work of Japanese folk art dolls Kokeshi. Kokeshi Dolls are made of wood, have large heads and streamline bodies without arms and legs. Avatars have weapons and feet, but they are not always visible in games. Shiger Miyamoto, renowned video game programmer and designerHe had a lot in common with the creation of Miis and modeled them at least partly on these dolls, which are so culturally recognizable. Many people believe that it is fascinating to see how this method has been updated by ancient folk art, and I thank Miyamot for his clever and entertaining invention.

There are several complaints about Miis. For example, you can't choose your own clothes, even if you can change the color of your clothes. Girls wear a smach type of dress and boys wear shirts and pants. Some fans would like to see more diversity of clothing, more wearing accessories (you can have sunglasses) and a little better graphics when avatars are used in games. Several Mii positions in Wii Sports® look a bit embarrassing.
