What Is a Movie Projector?
The projector is a mechanical device that restores the images and sounds recorded on the film in cooperation with screens and amplifiers.
- [fàng yìng j]
- From the copy used, it can be divided into 8mm projector (eliminated) 16mm projector (eliminated) 35mm projector and 70mm projector (IMAX)
- It can be divided into: fixed bag machine (mobile machine) and mobile phone.
- Movie type: widescreen, cover, etc.
- Film projectors are being phased out by digital projectors.
- Film projector advantages: good color, stable imaging.
- Advantages of digital projectors: no jitter, less prone to projection accidents (broken film), low projection cost.
Projector Standards and Features
- From high to low, it is divided into 4K, 2k, 1.3k, and 0.8k. Difference: 4K (digital machine with a resolution of 4096 × 2016 8.25 million pixels) is the highest end, and there are few in big cities. And 4K can be synchronized movies, 2K has. The 4K device can only see the difference from the 2K effect on a screen more than 20 meters wide. 2K (digital machine with a resolution of 2048 × 1080 2.21 million pixels) is an international standard machine. 1.3K (digital machine resolution is 1280 × 1024 13.1 million pixels) is the national standard machine. 0.8K (digital camera resolution is 1024 × 768 786,000 pixels) is a rural projector. Neither 4K nor 0.8K are in our scope here. (The above-mentioned digital equipment standards have been promulgated by our country.)
Projector resolution
- The 1.3K standard is a domestic standard. 2K is an international standard. Difference: 1.3k domestic movies are basically synchronized, and imported movies including Hong Kong movies (co-produced domestically) 2K can be divided into large movies. The movie is synchronized globally (as long as the country introduces it) 1.3K movies can be imported. Can not put the ledger, because of copyright, chip-level hardware limitations.
Projector ledger and buyout
- The Chinese film market publishes 50 imported films each year, and 20 are block-selling movies. Except for the introduction of 6 non-US films each year, the rest are Hollywood films. The national standard 1.3K buyout chip can be put, but it can't be put in the separate account. In addition, 3D movies, as special films, are not within the limits of import scope. The proportion of imported movies in the Chinese movie market is gradually increasing, and restrictions on imported movies are being relaxed.
