What is a portable digital media player?
Digital media portable player is a compact device that is capable of playing different types of digital media. This generally includes audio media, digital media video and various image formats. Some of the more sophisticated models have advanced features such as Wi-Fi and act as personal digital assistants (PDA). Given their portability and extensive playback options, it is not uncommon for a modern mobile phone to be a portable digital media player.
