What is a wireless video transmitter?
Wireless video transmitter is a system used to display an image from a video source on a screen that is not connected to the wire source. In most cases, a sound signal is also transmitted, but some systems are designed for security monitoring are only video. For example, the box can be in the living room, but the viewer wants to watch a video in bed. The transmitter avoids the second box. It also bypasses cabling, which can be expensive, complex to installation and potentially dangerous if not secured on site. Some wireless systems are bypassing this by including an infrared (IR) extender, sometimes known as a magical eye, which passes the remote control signals back to the source device. If the system does not include it, the viewer can buy a separate IR extender. The transmitter can transmit shots from the camera outside to the screen inside the property. Another use for this setting would be to allow the viewer to see who is at the door before the answer.
The image for the wireless video transmitter can be influenced by interference from other wireless devices that are transmitted at a similar frequency. Common examples include wireless internet routers, wireless phones and microwave furnaces. With the exception of the microwave, most of this device can be set to one of several transmission channels, either via a physical switch or via a computer settings for a router. Experimenting with these settings can avoid conflict between the device that can degrade the signals.
It should be noted that the wireless video transmission does not respect the limits of your property. It is possible that a neighbor could pick up a signal sent via your transmitter if it has similar equipment. Of course, this is not a problem, but that means you should think twice about using a wireless transmitter for any potentially embarrassing material such as domestic movies.
