What is ECOPOD®?

ECOPOD® is a compact recycling system designed to be placed in the house to increase the ease of recycling. Among other things, ECOPOD® receives recyclable items such as cans, glass bottles, plastic bottles, newspapers and plastic bags. It resembles a garbage bin and designed it by BMW DesignWorksus. When aluminum cans or plastic bottles are inserted through the opening on the top of the can, the user can enter the lever that causes EcoPod® to manually complicate the item and discard it into the removable basket below. The company states that the tanks can hold between 50 and 60 crushed containers and are able to crush containers that are 24 liquid ounces (710 ml) or smaller. When the basket is full, it can pull out and throw it into the recycling basket or the basket in the recycling center.leableb that cannot be lost. As mentioned above, this may include newspapers, plastic bags, cardboard or glass bottles. This storage compartment is also removable to make it easier to transmit recyclable regulationsto the relevant recycling basket. ECOPOD® is designed to facilitate recyclable items in one place and is particularly advantageous for smaller houses.

ECOPOD® is produced in plastic and stainless steel and is available in black or white to match the kitchen design. It is 31 inches tall (78 cm), 20.5 -inch (52 cm) and 16 inches (40 cm) and looks very similar to a garbage bin with a small hole at the top and the lid that lifts. It also includes a safety lock for children to prevent the crushed mechanism to be used dangerously.

ECOPOD® is intended to make recycling and encourage people to take their items to the recycling center instead of landfill. Some states also offer recycling of redemption, a small cash reward that supports recycling. Using this recycling compact, it could eventually save money to families while helping to improve the environment.
