What is the effect processor?

The effect processor or FX processor is a digital device that changes the electric guitar signal to add special effects. It is usually used as a preamplifier device that sends a processed signal to a guitar amplifier, but the effect processor can also be built into a personal headphone amplifier. Although some amplifiers can create effects such as overdrive, distortion, echo, tremolo and reverb, in most cases the effect must be "dialed" manually. In a live show, the guitarist must move from one effect to the other over the rhythm. While some amplifiers provide a remote foot pedal, the digital effect processor can immediately change between several effects with the foot stomp. Simple effects of effects can only cause one effect- for example, distortion. Burnt on the pedal once on the distortion, while Stomping turns off again to return to the "clean" amplified sound. If the amplifier is set to its own effect, drought as overdrive, the guitarist can easily switchbetween two effects.

The programmable effect processor can produce from tens to more than 100 special effects. This may include up to three or more pedals, and the guitarist can go through "digital patches" quietly by depression of the pedal when watching the LED screen. Using "User Pathers" to copy the necessary effects, the effects processor can be programmed in advance to store the desired effects close to each other.

Another advantage of the effect processor is that you can create unique patches using compression, echoes, profits, reverb and more for existing patches. Many models also include AMP modeling and cabinets that mimic the sound of various famous amplifiers and a combination of cabinet. Some even create an acoustic environment as a "concert hall", "club" or "arena".

Effect processor usually includes digital tuner on board and virtuals all models provide a line-in jack forPlaying with your favorite music. To help you learn riffs, some may digitally record a small part of the song to play on slower stairs without changing the playground. You can find out licking, exercise and increase the pace until you can play at normal speed. The effect processor is also a great tool for personal recording studio and many digital recorders now include the effect processor. The processors are also included in several headphone amplifiers.

In order to be inspired to write or play, beginners can use the effects processor to obtain the same wide range of acoustic abilities that professionals have at a nominal price that almost everyone can afford. Effect processors are available online and all over everywhere guitars are sold. The functions move between the manufacturer and the models, so buy before buying. Prices range from $ 99 to $ 300 or more, depending on the brand, model and functions.
