What is DSLR?
One lens camera (SLR) is a camera with one lens that uses a mirror and prism to reflect the photo image into the camera viewfinder. SLR cameras that store these images on digital cards are known as digital SLR or DSLR instead of printing images in the film. Images from these digital cameras can be printed by a user using a personal printer or professional photographic developers. Digital images can also be manipulated using different software applications before printing. This early Kodak® model was awarded around $ 30,000 in the US (USD).
In 1999, Nikon D1® DSLR was a support in professional photojournalism and sports photography. Manufacturers then focused on the supply of available digital cameras for the consumer market. During the beginning of 2000, several companies including Fujifilm®, Cannon®, Nikon®, Minolta (now known as Konica Minolta®) and others have introduced its own versions of the DSLR consumer. That has led toMore options and lower prices for consumers.
The image quality of the digital camera generally depends on the size of the image sensor and the number of megapixels used to create an image. The size of the image sensor is more important than the number of megapixels when selecting DSLR. DSLR has larger image sensors than typical Point-and-show digital cameras and as a result they can do higher quality.
Other advantages include much more creative checks through different DSLR settings compared to the digital Point-and-Shoot camera. Digital SLR can also use variety -free lenses to take pictures of various events and situations. Because the image quality is better, the photos can be printed in large formats without losing any resolution.
Digital SLR users will also face some challenges compared to Point-and-Shoot users. DigitalThe SLR camera is usually much more expensive to buy and maintenance than a more common camera. Digital SLRs are also much larger, more fragile and heavier to wrap them and perform outdoors. Its ability to use different lenses also contributes to the amount of devices that the user must carry.
Photographers who prefer to use the camera in fully automatic mode may prefer to use the PINT-and-SHOOT digital camera. Creative benefits are lost when the user does not want to upset with different settings and lenses on DSLR. Also, if the photos are printed using typical small images formats, the quality of the DSLR image is generally not necessary.
