What is a spatial sound?
Sound space is aptly named for surrounding the listener by an acoustic environment that exceeds the two -channel stereo experience of the past. In public and domestic theaters, systems throughout the audience sound and provide a more natural experience.
In real life, people experience sound in the context of surrounding sounds. If someone speaks, listening can also hear a weak drone far above, a school base full of children nearby, birds in trees and television set off from the next room. These sounds spread throughout the audible landscape. The lined sound faithfully restores the entire landscape by sending the right sounds to the right places to simulate the experience closer to real life. This is also referred to as Dolby Digital and Digital Theater Systems (DTS) sound.
Another Came DTS Extended Sound (DTS-ES) or Thx AS Spatial Sound 6-1 . This system uses six speakers plus subwoofer, with this additional speaker captivated the position of the center back to create a more complete three -waySpecific sound scenes. The 7-1 system adds another speaker to the mix: it takes the rear center channel and divides it into two and creates a position lining speaker for the surrounded rear.
While the stereo record will play through any surrounding system, the receiver simply sends the left channel in half the speakers and the right channel to the second half. In order to achieve complete effect, the original record must be coded for it. If this is the case, the receiver is able to send specific sounds to specific speakers and create "located sounds" to create an acoustic atmosphere.
For example, one can imagine watching a movie in which the main character stands on the sidewalk when he hears his friend call his name right behind him. He turns on the left and sees his friend. Watching this movie in spatial sound, a friend's voice comes from the back of the left speaker and puts the viewer inside sound track.
The more speakers the spatial system has, the greater the ability to place the sounds where they belong. The difference is obvious, for example, when watching the war scene with ammunition explodes all around. This system will feel that the bullets whistle and jump on the bombs exploding behind their backs. Compare it to the entire audio track of playing through two front speakers in the stereo system. The more complicated system adds authenticity because it gives the viewer or listeners to the picture or in the case of music on the stage with a band surrounding it.
Spatial sound systems have minimal requirements for apege -generated receiver. If the receiver is not powerful enough, it will not be able to push through the sounds of speakers with sufficient taste. If the receiver has much more energy than they require speakers, it will be very easy to throw the speakers by random by leaving the volume when the system is turned on.
