Chen Dake, born September 22, 1957 in Changsha, Hunan Province, physical oceanographer, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences [1] , researcher and doctoral supervisor of the Second Institute of Oceanography, State Oceanic Administration, State Key Laboratory of Satellite Marine Environmental Dynamics Room director [2] .

In 2014, Chen Dake served as a member of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scientists and the Science Fund for Innovative Research Groups in the field of Earth Science [10]

He uses ENSO (El Niño-Southern Oscillation) and marine mixing to significantly affect the development of the discipline and has great effects.
