- Parameters for delineating ore bodies and calculating reserves of uranium deposits.
- The main parameters are: (1) boundary grade; (2) minimum industrial grade; (3) minimum recoverable thickness; (4) thickness of stone removal; (5) minimum industrial meter percentage. The uranium industry index is based on the feasibility or pre-feasibility evaluation of uranium deposits, a careful analysis of the supply and demand situation, production technology level and economic conditions of uranium products at home and abroad for a certain period of time, and is formulated after technical and economic demonstration. It is a dynamic indicator system.
- The uranium industry index is the standard and basis for evaluating the industrial value of the deposit, delineating ore bodies, and calculating resource reserves. During the uranium ore pre-inspection and census stage, the index values of comparable deposits of the same type in China can be used, as well as the index values of the "Uranium Geological General Survey Specifications" (EJ / T 702-92) issued in 1992. The detailed investigation and exploration phase shall combine the results of the pre-feasibility study or feasibility study, and determine the industrial indicators through repeated trials and comparisons of ore bodies. After the indicators are determined, they should be reported in accordance with the procedures prescribed by the State and the competent nuclear industry authorities for approval before being formally linked to the orebodies to calculate the resource reserves. The uranium mine industry indicators generally include: boundary grade, minimum industrial grade, minimum recoverable thickness, boundary meter percentage value, minimum industrial meter percentage value, and stone removal thickness.
