How Do I Choose the Best Ethics Class?
Ethical culture (ethical culture) refers to moral education in some countries in primary and secondary schools. Different countries offer different courses to students in moral education, and their goals and contents are also different. France and Japan are countries that offer ethics classes. French schools offered religious classes before the Revolution. Religious education was abolished in 1882, and a course on moral citizenship was opened. Its basic goal is to make students develop into "free men" with self-discipline. The content includes three parts: (1) the cultivation of personality and internal norms; (2) professional ethics; (3) participation in family activities, class activities, and social economic and political activities. Japanese schools provided self-cultivation classes before the Second World War, carried out loyalty and patriotism education, advocated "cultivation of culture and training," and promoted militarism.
