- Founded by Rev. John Massey, Jr. in 1979, the school was a day school for the first five years. In 1984, the school welcomed the first international students. International Student Support: The school understands the English learning needs of international students. The school has an English-speaking roommate for all international students and provides tutors. The cost of additional tuition is included in the tuition. In addition, there is a formal ESL course, which takes one class per day, with about 3-4 students in each class. Double Credit Course: The school has partnered with Grand Canyon University to provide students with an online double credit course. These are college-level courses that also meet the high school credit requirements. Students who want to take this course must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. If you have a 2.5 GPA and get approval from your school counselor, you can get permission to attend the course. The school only accepts students in grades 11 or 12. Grade 11 students must successfully complete their grade 10 courses.
