How Do I Get a Social Work Certificate?
There are two types of social work permits, namely the National Professional Qualification Certificate for Social Workers and the Professional Certificate for Social Workers.
Social worker qualification certificate
- Social Worker belongs to the state
- ---- Social Worker Level 4 (one with one of the following conditions)
- (1) Obtained a college degree in social work recognized by the state.
- (2) Obtained a junior college degree in social work related majors recognized by the state, four-level formal training of social workers to reach the required standard hours, and a certificate of completion.
- (3) Born before 1959, obtained a technical secondary school or equivalent degree, engaged in social work for more than 3 years, and passed the formal training of social workers at the fourth level to the required standard hours, and obtained a certificate of completion.
- ---- Social Worker Level 3 (one with one of the following conditions)
- (1) A master's degree in social work recognized by the state.
- (2) A bachelor's degree in social work recognized by the state and engaged in social work for more than 2 years.
- (3) Obtained a bachelor degree or above (including undergraduate degree) in social work related majors recognized by the state, engaged in social work for more than 3 years, and passed the three-level formal training of social workers to the required standard hours, and obtained a certificate of completion.
- (4) After obtaining the fourth-level professional qualification certificate for social workers, they have been engaged in social work for more than three years. After the third-level formal training for social workers has reached the required standard number of hours, and obtained a certificate of completion.
- ---- Secondary social worker (one with one of the following conditions)
- (1) A professional doctorate in social work recognized by the state.
- (2) Obtained a bachelor's degree in social work recognized by the state, a third-level vocational qualification certificate for social workers, and engaged in social work for more than 5 years. The second-level formal training of social workers has reached the required standard number of hours, and a certificate of completion.
- (3) A master's degree in social work recognized by the state, a third-level vocational qualification certificate for social workers, continuous social work for more than three years, and a second-level formal training of social workers reaching the required standard number of hours, and a certificate of completion.
- ---- Social worker level (one with one of the following conditions)
- (1) After obtaining the second-class vocational qualification certificate for social workers, they have been engaged in social work for more than 3 years. After the first-level formal training of social workers has reached the required standard number of hours, and obtained a certificate of completion.
- I. Assistant Social Worker
- 1. Obtain a high school or technical secondary school education and have been engaged in social work for 4 years;
- 2. Obtained a college degree in social work and has been engaged in social work for 2 years;
- 3. Fresh graduates of social work majors;
- 4. Obtain a college degree in other majors and have been engaged in social work for 4 years;
- 5. Obtain a bachelor degree or above in other majors and have been engaged in social work for 2 years.
- Social Worker
- 1. After obtaining a high school or technical secondary school degree and obtaining the professional level certificate of an assistant social worker, he has been engaged in social work for 6 years;
- 2. Obtained a college degree or above in social work and has been engaged in social work for 4 years;
- 3. Obtain a bachelor's degree in social work and have been engaged in social work for 3 years;
- 4, obtained a master's degree in social work, engaged in social work for 1 year;
- 5. Obtain a professional doctorate in social work;
- 6. For other college degree or above, the number of years of social work will be increased by 2 years.
