What Are the Different Types of Beautician Qualifications?
The beautician vocational qualification examination is a qualification examination for professionals engaged in beauticians. It is divided into five levels: beginner, intermediate, senior, technician and senior technician.
Beautician professional qualification exam
Cosmetologist refers to a person who cleans, cares for, and maintains the skin of a customer according to his face shape, skin characteristics, and requirements [1]
The vocational qualification is divided into five levels: primary (National Vocational Qualification Level 5), Intermediate (National Vocational Qualification Level 4), Advanced (National Vocational Qualification Level 3), Technician (National Vocational Qualification Level 2), Senior Technician ( National Vocational Qualification Level 1) [1]
Application conditions
Elementary (one of the following conditions)
(1) Pass the primary formal training of this occupation to the required standard number of hours, and obtain a certificate of completion.
(2) More than 2 years of continuous apprenticeship in this occupation.
Intermediate (one with one of the following conditions)
(1) After obtaining the junior vocational qualification certificate for this occupation, he has been engaged in this occupation for more than 2 years, and has reached the required standard number of hours after formal intermediate training in this occupation, and obtained a certificate of completion.
(2) After obtaining the junior vocational qualification certificate for this occupation, he has been engaged in this occupation continuously for more than 5 years.
(3) Obtaining a vocational school (professional) graduation certificate from a secondary or higher vocational school with intermediate skills as the training target, which has been verified by the labor security administrative department.
Advanced (one with one of the following conditions)
(1) After obtaining the intermediate vocational qualification certificate for this occupation, he has been engaged in this occupation for more than 4 years, and has reached the required standard number of hours after the advanced formal training in this occupation, and obtained a certificate of completion.
(2) After obtaining the intermediate vocational qualification certificate of this occupation, he has been engaged in this occupation continuously for more than 7 years.
(3) College graduates or related majors who have obtained the intermediate vocational qualification certificate of this occupation, have been engaged in this occupation for more than 2 years.
(4) Obtaining a vocational school (professional) graduation certificate from a higher vocational school or higher that aims at training advanced skills and is approved by a senior technical school or labor security administrative department.
Technician (one with one of the following conditions)
(1) After obtaining the senior vocational qualification certificate for this occupation, he has been engaged in this occupation continuously for more than 5 years, obtained formal training hours for the professional technicians, and obtained a certificate of completion.
(2) After obtaining the advanced vocational qualification certificate for this occupation, he has been engaged in this occupation continuously for more than 8 years.
(3) The graduates of the senior vocational school who have obtained the senior vocational qualification certificate of this profession (professional), have been engaged in this occupation for more than 2 years.
Senior Technician (one of the following conditions)
(1) After obtaining the professional qualification certificate of this vocational technician, he has been engaged in this occupation for more than 3 years. After formal training of senior vocational technician in this vocation, he has reached the required standard number of hours and obtained a certificate of completion.
(2) After obtaining the professional qualification certificate of this professional technician, he has been engaged in this professional work continuously for more than 6 years.
Levels 3, 4 and 5 are divided into theoretical exams and practical exams. Theoretical knowledge exams use a closed-book written exam method, and the skills operation assessment adopts an on-site practical operation method. [2]
