- This textbook is a revised version of the medical higher vocational education textbook "Human Anatomy and Physiology" published by Fudan University Press in 2002. According to the catalogue of the National Eleventh Five-Year Plan textbooks of the Ministry of Education, the "Human Anatomy and Physiology" is divided into two textbooks "Human Anatomy" and "Physiology" after this revision. This textbook is applicable to the nursing major of medical higher vocational education. The textbook is divided into 12 chapters. It mainly introduces the various life phenomena, activity laws and their generating mechanisms that the human body and its various components (systems, organs, tissues and cells) under normal circumstances show. Influence and various adjustments made by the body to adapt to environmental changes, and reveal the significance of various physiological functions in overall life activities. The first and second chapters of this textbook are general in nature about the internal environment and its homeostasis, the regulation of human physiological functions, material transport and signal transduction across cell membranes, cellular bioelectrical phenomena, and the contractile function of muscle cells. The chapters on energy metabolism and body temperature are not limited to a certain system. The remaining chapters introduce the physiological functions of each system by system, such as blood, blood circulation, breathing, digestion, urinary, sensory, neurological, endocrine, and reproduction. There is a study outline at the beginning of each chapter and appropriate exercises at the back. The appendix at the back of the book contains some answers to exercises, Chinese-English index and reference materials. [3]
