A computer hardware technician is usually responsible for physical installation, maintenance and repair of various types of computer systems. This type of position is related to the use of hardware that refers to the physical components of the computer system such as hard drives, monitors, network cables and mainframe server. The basic duties of a computer hardware technician usually begin with the initial installation of hardware and other computer devices that are part of a larger system.
