What Does an Advertising and Promotions Manager Do?
Advertising marketing manager: Develop advertising strategies and promotion projects for the department or the entire organization, make posters, coupons, etc. to promote sales of products and services and create additional profits. Most corporate management and chief executive positions are replaced by experienced low-level managers and executives, and advertising and marketing managers can be promoted to general manager, up to the highest position president or CEO. The educational background required by advertising marketing managers varies widely. Most have a bachelor's degree in arts or management, and courses in arts, advertising, marketing, finance, psychology, and foreign languages are also well prepared for this position. Interpersonal communication skills and operating skills of computer software, especially mapping software, are very helpful for this position.
