At first, I heard that a cartoonist in Taiwan was also named Thangka. I was afraid of misunderstandings, so I just took the pen name of Arnold and used it for years. Readers and friends are confused about whether "Arno" and "Thangka" are the same person, so they simply use "Tang "Card".

"Thangka" is a transliteration of Tibetan. Speaking of the love of painting, it should be from the time of ignorance of notes. When I was a kid, I scribbled in my homework book, my father's notebook, and watercolor paper was not used until after college. I like the thrill of water sliding across the paper. This is something the tablet can't feel. The color blends naturally in the paper with a mixture of water. I have always been obsessed with watercolor paper, and for a while, in order to find a satisfactory watercolor paper, I made a lot of crazy moves. He is a stubborn person. He can continue the favorite things for a long time. He can eat the same dish that he likes in a month. The preference for watercolor is also unmatched by other paintings. I like the transparency, cleanness and gentleness of watercolor, and the natural rendering of water marks is the greatest pleasure of creation.

When I was in junior high school, I dreamed of becoming a cartoonist, but later found that I lacked the understanding of induction and generalization, and my changing personality was not suitable for trying to make a serious cartoon, so I used illustration as the main support.
